The Customer Portal, From Their Side

Most of the calls you take are people asking for information you already have. Give them somewhere to look it up.

What they see

  • An overview: estimates waiting on them, unpaid invoices, active jobs.
  • A button to request new work.
  • My jobs, my estimates, my invoices, my requests — their whole history with you.
  • Approve or decline an estimate.
  • Pay an invoice.

They can also set a default service address, so a landlord with four properties isn't retyping one every time.

The part nobody expects to be useful

Customers can record visit details: business hours, the gate code, where to park, which door to use. It sits on the record, and your tech reads it before they arrive instead of standing in a lot calling you.

Where you'll find it

Customers get the portal on web and in the mobile app, and what they see is scoped strictly to their own records. Editing their own details — the service address, their hours, the notes about getting in — happens in the mobile app.
