Finding One Job, or Exporting All of Them
Search every job, request, estimate and invoice by customer name, company, email or phone — or pull the whole lot out as a CSV.
You remember half the surname and the last four digits of a phone number, and it was maybe two years ago. That's the search this is built for.
Searching
Type into the search bar and it looks across jobs, service requests, estimates and invoices at the same time. You don't pick a category first, because you usually don't know which one it's in.
It matches on the record's own title, and on the customer attached to it — their name, their company, their email, or any of their phone numbers. Punctuation in a phone number is ignored, so "5551234" finds "(555) 123-4xxx". Street addresses are not searched, so reach for the customer rather than the house.
Exporting
- Open reports and pick which record types you want — customers, team, jobs, estimates, invoices, service requests, expenses or your pricebook.
- Set a start and end date, or leave it open for everything.
- Download the CSV.
- It tells you how many records came out, so you can tell whether your filter was doing what you thought.
Useful for your accountant, for a tax year, for a spreadsheet you want to slice yourself, or simply for having your own data on your own drive.
