What's Actually on the Truck
Counts, reorder points and locations — so you find out you're out of 3/4" fittings in the warehouse, not in a customer's basement.
The second trip to the supply house is the most expensive hour of the day, and it happens because nobody knew what was on the van.
How it works
- Add items with the quantity you currently have on hand.
- Set a reorder point — the level where you want a warning, not the level where you're out.
- Anything below it gets flagged as low stock.
- Assign a location so you know which truck or which warehouse shelf.
- Mark items inactive when you stop carrying them, rather than deleting the history.
- Import an existing list by CSV instead of typing it.
Storage locations
Trucks and warehouses can be named as separate locations, with quantities tracked against each. "We have twelve" is useless if all twelve are on the other van.
Technicians only see the inventory screen if you switch it on for them. Some owners want the crew checking stock; some very much do not.
