Creating a Job
The record everything else hangs off — the address, the crew, the schedule, the notes, and the warranty date you will want in eighteen months.

A job is the spine of the whole system. Photos, hours, messages, invoices — they all attach to it.
How it works
- Give it a title someone will recognise in a list of forty. "Kitchen re-pipe" beats "Job 114."
- Add the description and the job-site address, which is often not the customer's billing address.
- Attach the customer.
- Schedule it and assign the technicians going.
- Set a warranty-until date if the work carries one.
- Move it through its statuses as the work progresses.
The warranty date is worth filling in even though nothing chases it for you. When the call comes in eighteen months later, the answer is on the job instead of in an argument — and individual line items can carry their own warranty date when the boiler is covered for longer than the fittings.
Where you'll find it
Web at /dashboard/jobs, and Jobs in the mobile app. Techs in the field usually work from the mobile job screen all day.
